The last year 1863 has passed off leaving many thousands with making hearts mourning the loss of there dear friends. Fathers brothers, sons & husbands, many that have been slain upon the bloody battle fields. Many that have been wounded, carried off the field & have died, Many that have sickened and died in Prisons, hospitals, & Camps. History cannot record the greate destruction of life that has been occasioned by this most unnatural & wicked War. What dreadful sufferings has been produced b this unnecessary War No one living ever will be able to give a full picture of its consequences &
