Jany 19 1864 Tues) It is verry cold this morning Wind in the N. W. The Rockway Mare Colt found dead this morning After dinner Thomas & William left for Bigbigby - the Weather has moderated some in the evening Alfred Harrison & Jno Porter came at night stayed until morning.

Many re-installed Soldiers passing back from the front having furlows for 30 or 60 days. Fanna lay in a boy. Welbourn Bridges robed of Money at night.

Thursday 21 The morning is clear & verry pretty weather No particular news from the over night I stayed by myself last night & at home all day. (We hung all our meat)
