1864 Friday 11 March I stayed at home all day We made a commencement to rebuild our Woods toll fence where it was purned (on the 13 Jany & other places) (Green finished working at George Dicksons. paid $9.00) I wrote a letter to Thomas by Lipscomb on Wed last Recd no answer abt his Corn (Sold Webb 6 bbls Corn at $4.00 pr barrel out of my Crib at home paid $20.)

Sat 12 I went to Town Got 6 bolts of Ozniburg 200 yards. Saw Mary in Town She was in a verry bad humor. News of Soriminging on the Tennessee river where Genl Dodge is crossing. Loned Nat $5.00 yesterday Verry pretty weather
(Puss is still sick)

Sun 13. Verry pretty morning it has turned a little cool William went this morning to B. B. Jack took the dark Mule & my bugga went to Lawrenceburg News that Genl Smith is on his rode here with his Division I stayed by my self tonight William not at home ( I watched carefully )

Mon 14th Verry pretty morning All hands present Press unwell, Jack unwell, Green & Sandford & Monk fixing up the plows the ballence of the hands are working on the front lott fince.
Col Hamiltons Regt of Cavalry (Verry large) passed on the Pulaski rode going South this morning. Finished the fence
