Press & Read both sick Press is some better the arm of Red is sore where he weas vacinated & much inflamed - Puss is better The Wind is from the North and verry cold (freezing)
William still gone

1864 March) Wed 16th-) This morning verry cold the Wind from the North is verry pearching & cloudy. I stayed by my self last night again No particular news. Still working on the Woods lott fence.

William came home from B. B. this evening (Verry cold) freesing William stayed Sun night Mon night Tues night away from home

Th 17 The weather have moderated A verry pretty day All hands working on the Wood lott fence No particular news I have stayed at home cant get much done they wont work to da any good

Fri 18 We are still making at our Wood lott fence We have got it closed all round tho there were some patching of the pickits & some repairing between us and Rankin. Jack Porter & his wife
