Tu 19. Verry pretty weather but verry cold for the time of year I have been verry unwell with Cold All day some headake & fever. Still making a Cole pit. Jack is unwell has been for several days. Puss is still sick no better. We will about finish beding up the field next the pawn to night. I stayed at home.

Wed 20th I went to Town with Margaret Porter I paid abt $5.00 for her After dinner William Pillows son of W. H. Pillow & Buck Jones was captured & took the Oath of elegiance & discharged.
