Mon 25 Negro Corn planting
I am quite unwell. Went to Town in the evening The Mare
& others still in the Gard house. Greate many contrabands
Negroes leaving there Masters. Still planting Corn field
next the pawn &c

I am much better this morning tho not well by a good
deal We are getting along farming verry slow in deed.
Margaret still with us. John Frierson came from Memphis says
Martha Jane & family are all well & Martha is trying to get
