& beautiful morning

I dreamed a few nights ago that my plantation was grown
up, all over it with tall an beautiful Cedars & evergreens
and they looked remarkable beautiful and ornamental Some of
them extreamly tall & green. I was verry much delighted with
its greate beauty & sterling Worth. (What is to happen I
look for something extraordinery to hapen before long This
dream has bore upon my Mind several days so much that I am
not likely to forget it. (I stayed at home all day)
Moses Mareno came at night & stayed all night

Beautiful morning I stayed at home all night Mareno
with me William did not get home last night.
William came home this evening Abes wife & family left
last night I stayed at home

All hands have went to plowing this morning in the
Locust Hill field & other work Saul is better Matilda is
well Anderson is better Jack is well again The morning is
verry clear & beautiful No particular news tho some expected
shortly William came home yesterday All is well at Maryanns
& Websters &c I went to Town Grant is advancing Lea retreating
towards Richmond, greate expectation of a big fight. The
news are Shearman has been terably cut up in Georgia loss
12,000 Not believed entirely The Negroes are leaving The
Chopers of the Rail rode ties have not ventured back since the
Gurilla raid last week Moses Moreno stayed last night
