I have been verry bad off G A Pillow with me I took
2 injections verry bad off. Powerful operations hard balls
blood & Jelly considerable verry considerable quantity passed
off Soldiers & William fighting over the Milk at the Spring

Tu 21. Margaret
I am some better this morning Margaret quite unwell
took some blue Mass Miss S Craddock that has been with Margaret
for sever day returns home in the morning.

Wed 22.
Clear & cool the boys are trying to plow in the field
next the branch Locust Hill The ground is full Wet having rained yesterday
George Henry Sandford & Puss are all complaining Margaret
is verry sick & I am still better.

1864 June Th 23d plowing
Clear & pretty Weather I am yet a good deal better -
unwell tho better Bad off with my bowels, not able to leave
my room but a few Minnits at a time Some of the boys are
cutting Wheat at J. W. B. Thomas & others & some plowing Finished
plowing in the Locust Hill field late this evening Not
doing much

I stayed at home I think I am some little better tho
not much

I went to Town in the morning & home by dinner I am
some better tho not well All hands quit work at 11 oclock.
The news that Col Misners Command (14th Mich) was lately
badly cut up & Misner wounded in Georgia.

I feel much better this morning tho not well. I have
had Diore & flux & Cholic ever since Wed 15. inst which has
