Sat 9th Maryann / Cotton
I went to Town Maryanns Cotton sold in N. Y. for $1.44
per lb I got home for dinner No particular news

Sun. 10 rain / Monll / Coffee / Rain Beef / Williams Mag.
I stayed at home all day No particular news (Rained)
I went to Town Margaret went with me I baught of B
Thompson 50 lbs of Coffee at $.70 per lb. Verry important
news from the front the Fedrels appears to be worsted Greate
slaughter reported The Reble troops are near Baltimore &
in Penn. great alarm amongst the people in that parts It
rained a good shower. We killed a little beef Margaret went to
Jacks & stayed all night & came back next day with A O Williams
