I went to Town The authorities say they have got no news

It rained a heavy rain last night & I got a little wet coming
home last evening Granville P Pillow rode with me in my
bugga to Town yesterday & to day. Greate many wounded are
carried in to Town 15 Avalances run for several hours last
night bringing the wounded in to Town The Ternp. house is
full of the wounded.
