Sun 13 / To Town /
I went to Town early in the morning the provost
Frankaburger was drunk & nothing was done with the Soldier
that I took to Town on last evening. No particular news that
is reliable Quite cold weather
Mon 14 / Soldier Hendrix / Sent on to Nashville to be dealt with there /
I went to Town Hendrix the Soldier that we had a fuss
with Saturday was braught out of Jail I give in My evidence
as detailed on Saturday. He was sent back to Jail No decission
yet. It rained - slowly nearly all day Mudy &
Sloppy I came home at one oclock They halled Wood (some)
& killed a beef

I stayed at home all day No news only preparing for a
fight all round about I dont think it will take place

I went to Town after dinner learning the command is
about to leave We halled Corn until it rained

I went to Town & tryed to get my filla back that I
sold to Truett The news is the Confeds are across the
river on this side in considerable fource

I went to Town found the command 7th Penn Cavalry all
mooving off North Col Sipes having resigned his commission
give up his place to Col McCoy of the & Majr Frankaburger
