the provost give up his place to It has rained all day &
with some difficulty I got My Gray filly back & Saul rode
her home, her legs badly swelled

Sat 19. / Ester Wagon found / Bay Mare lost / rain / sore hand /
I stayed at home all day & it has rained all day.
Thomas Ester had his 2 horse Wagon stolen last night he tracked
it in & through my wood lott & into Rankins Woods lott &
found it under a bank of straw in Rankins lott & carried it
back home Weaned the little bay Mare lost on yesterday We
are doing nothing it has rained every day or night & some
times both all this week. My hand that I got cut last Saturday
the 12 I think is better but verry painfull

Sun 20th Novr. / rain / Weaned colt / apples / Wm. / Martha /
It rained nearly all night The country is in a flood
of Watter No news this morning yet heard, every thing appears
quiet calm No wind. We have weaned our bay Danrico Mare
Rockimar fillas Colt to day. We divided out apples with all
our blacks, all got some.
William was quite unwell all night better this morning
(his back) We have heard nothing from Martha Jane so long
I fear when we hear there will be some thing that will be
mortifying to us O if she & her family was only here to share with us &
us with her in Our day of Trouble, it would be a greate
gratification for us to be all together O will that time ever
come that we will ever get to gather & the Country once more
in peace. What would I give yes all I have to effect it but
