Anne Battle Letters

I had Spaghetti Vongole in Rome that was very good. I also had sweetbreads which were very yummy. I can't wait until Paris you guys should come here especially w/ Mecias as guides. Its great Also weather is Rome was beautiful. Sun felt great. Its the same cloudy wet type weather here in Beutelsbach.

I'm sorry about Steve Clark. Is he working now?

Jim Downs wrote me a letter. That was a pleasant surprise. Also Mary wrote me the comments on my paper. Not so good. Oh, well. I got my A. I'm having trouble motivating myself for the Directed Reading class. Hope I get things done. Will read next few days.

Looking over this letter I kind of treated Lee's death lightly. But what can I say. I really like the Irishes and I am very sorry it happened. Its very hard to say or think anything new about something like this. Its all been said and doesnt mean very much.

Thank you very much again for the Valentine's gift. Oh what about Sue Sanchez's address here? Should I send you my pictures? developed or undeveloped? I think its a good idea.
