189 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE May 6 1887 Bills Rejected Bill of James Campbell $10.00 for Hauling Hook & LAdder Truck, is on recommendation fo Fire &Water Committee rejected. Miscellaneous On motion of councilman Furth ordered that the Clerk draw a warrant on the City Fund in favor of J W Hall for $45.00 the vehicle license fee wrongfully collected. Ordered that the City Clerk return the Tax Roll for the year 1886 with his warrant to the Treasurer for the sale of porperty & Collection of delinquent taxes for the year 1886 and previous years. And now in accordance with law the council proceeds to select the members of the Board of Registration for the term provided by law. Whereupon anelection and the following named persons having received a majority of votes cast are declared duly elected viz: R Ammends For the First Ward R W Wineepaw For the Second Ward Jesse Cochran For the Third Ward I H Page For the Fourth Ward Madison Street Extension The owners of property along the line of the Madison Street Extension having failed to appoint appraisers pursuant to published notice, the Council now proceeds to appoint appraisers acording to law.
