648 JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE Nov 2 1888 Miscellaneous On motion of Councilman Durie ordered that a special committee of three be appointed by the Mayor for thepurpose of consulting with the County Authorities in regard to the care of the indigent Poor & Sick. The mayor appoint Council Durie, [Burns]] and Green as such committee. Wall Street tax levy Ordered that a tax of two hundred and sixty six (266) mills on each and every dollar of the assessed valuation of all the property included within the Assessment District created by Ordinance No 948 be and the purpose of paying for the improvement of Wall Street from Elliott's Bay to Depot St in the City of Seattle. Ordered that the City Clerk on Mill Street grade be referred to the Judiciary Committee to be reported on at the next meeting. Ordered that the City CLerk be and he is hereby directed to issue a warrant on the City Fund inthe sumof One Hundred (100) dollars in favor of Alexander Boussinet in full payment for the claim for damages against the City made by said Boussinet for injuries caused by a fall occasioned by a defective sidewalk, said warrant to be issued & delivered when a release in fullis filed by said claimant. Councilman T E Jones is excused from further attendance by the Mayor.
