State of Tennessee Fentress County

February Sessions 1825

Be it Remembered that at a Court of Pleas and quarter sessions Began and held for the County of Fentress at the house of Conrad Pile On the first monday of February 1825 the following Order and decree was made In the following words and figures towit It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that Henry H. Atkinson Nathan Haggard John B. McCormack and John McClelland securities for William Crockett, Entry Taker For Fentress County had given said Entry Taker twenty days notice to be prepared with other security persuant to Act of Assembly in such cases made and provided and said Entry taker having failed to do so, It is adjudged Ordered and decreed by said Court that the said William Crockett has forfeited his Office of Entry Taker aforesaid and that a Copy of this decree be forthwith transmitted to the Governor certifyed as the Law directs

State of Tennessee Fentress County

I John H. Richardson Clerk of the Court of pleas and quarter sessions for the County of Fentress do hereby certify that the forgoing Order is a true Copy of the Original now Recorded in my Office Given my hand at Office this first day of April 1825
