Dr Sir

I have purchased from Mr Wm Sharp (who you will see by the papers in the hands of my brother) held the Interest which Colo Alexander Outlaw had in the Cum= berland Turnpike Company. I have assisted in the clearing the road agreeable to the act of Assembly, which is now ready to be reviewed. I hope your Excellen =cy will send the commissioners to report upon it at as early a date as may be convenient - you will oblige me Sir by informing me whether I cannot be incorporated in the company
