Permit me for a moment to intrude on your Patience by Recommending to your notice Spencer Jarnagin Esqr a fit Person to fill the Vacancy - of John Wilkinson attorney Genral of the B^d Solicitorial District Decast- I am well aware that M^r Jarnagin is as well if not Better Quallified to discharge the duties of that of that appointment than any man in East Tennessee My Reason for Making this Request is that the busness of that district has been much neglect^d Even to a loss in the Revenue. under the.
