We the undersigned have heard of the circumstances of the murder charged to Edwin Crawford and of the verdict and Judgment rendered on his trial; and we unite with the Jury in their recom mendation of mercy to his Excellency the Governor - and therefore pray that a pardon may be extended to the said Crawford. May 12th 1820
