Let the reward offered be to the limit of the Statute!

We the undersigned have heard of the circumstances of the murder charged to Edwin Crawford and of the verdict and Judgment rendered on his trial; and we unite with the Jury in their recom mendation of mercy to his Excellency the Governor - and therefore pray that a pardon may be extended to the said Crawford. May 12^th 1820
