A M^r Kilpatrick lately informed me, that he had app =lied to you as agent of for the department of War, respecting his son & Kyzer, who it is supposed were murdered by the Indians in March last - Will you be so good as to inform me what information you have rec^d from M^r Sevier ^and the Judiciary on the subject, and whether or not, the perpetra =tors are likely to be discovered
