Gentlemen

Your favour [page damaged] have been duly [received with?] [damage] affoards me pleasure [damage] Commissioners of Georgia are in [damage] conjunction with those [damage] offence cuting out the Contemplated [damage] be of great and mutual advantage [damage] be equal to our most sanguine ^[wishes?] expectations - Our Assembly convenes on Monday next, at which time ^it is expected every provision will be made ^necessary to forward the desireable object, and Imake no doubt our Commissioners will be ready to meet you on the 15^th of August, at M^r James Vans. if they should not, I will advise you of the same previous to the time of your meeting, and you may rest assured
