Gentlemen

Your favour [page damaged] have been duly [received with?] [damage] affoards me pleasure [damage] Commissioners of Georgia are in [damage] conjunction with those [damage] offence cuting out the Contemplated [damage] be of great and mutual advantage [damage] be equal to our most sanguine ^[wishes?] expectations - Our Assembly convenes on Monday next, at which time ^it is expected every provision will be made ^necessary to forward the desireable object, and Imake no doubt our Commissioners will be ready to meet you on the 15th of August, at Mr James Vans. if they should not, I will advise you of the same previous to the time of your meeting, and you may rest assured
