Resolved.

That in compliance with a concured and approved resolution of the General assembly of this state of the 19^th of May ultimo William Barnett Robert Easley Buckner Harris Esquires be and they hearby are appointed Commissioners to superintend the laying off and opening a road from the state of Tennessee through the Cherokee nation of Indians to this state agreeably to articles of agreement for that purpose entered into between the United States and the said nation of Indians
