State of Tennessee Rhea County

this day personally appearid before Me abraham Smith a Citizen of ^said County and made Oath that on the evening of the 25 of this Instant he the said Smith hapened to be at the house of John Ginnoe of said county and after a short time, a small dispute a rose between said Ginnoe and an Indian Half breed Indian by the name of John Wilkerson a bout a pare of shoe leathers, and after some time when the said Smith thought a Controversy was over the said John Ginnoe and the Half breed Indian John Wilkerson the said Ginnoe said, well I will go and draw us a Dram then turning to the Dresser Caught up a large Butcher Knife and stabbed the said Wilkerson in the body and he the said Wilkerson expired in a few Hours-
