Springfield 1st December 1816.

His Excellency Joseph McMinn

Sir,

As it seems to be neces-sary that proclamation, should made of the escape of prisoners, by your Excellency, I give you this that you may act accordingly.

There was committed to the gaeol of this County not long since, a man by name Urial Medlock, for Burglary of which he was afterwards found guilty and condemned to be executed on the 6th of February next: But on the ^night of the 30th of November last the said Urial Medlock made his Escape from the common prison of the County.

The said Medlock is a little upwards of six feet high, well made, has a down look Brown hair, large whiskers, when he left this he was dressed in thin homespun; about thirty years of age.
