Thomas Ferguson Jun^r charged with Stealing One cirb [sic] bridle with a plated bit the property of Cornelius Newman Ferguson is about 23 years old 5 feet 9 or 10 Inches high, dark Complection, blue Eyes &c,

I Hugh Carter of Greene County do heare -by [sic] Certified that John Cobble of this county - County delivered to me on the first day of September Instant, 1818 a ceartain [sic] Michael Still, which had escaped out of the Jail of said County on the 21^st of July Last past which said Cobble stated that he had apprehended said Still in Jefferson County in this state on the 31^st August last past being the same man which had Escaped out of the Jail of this County and is advertised a reward of fifty dollars for the apprehention [sic] in the news papers by the proclamation of the Governor of the State of Tennessee Given under my hand 11^th day of September 1818
