State of Tennessee

Giles County Court August Term 1810.

Ordered that John Easley be appointed to Oversee the Clearing Out and Keeping in repair agreable to law the part of the road, leading from the shoals on Richland Creek, towards Huntsville from Elk River to the state line, with the hands to Work on said Road, Within the following bounds towit, Begining [sic] On Elk River Opposite the mouth of Richland Creek, thence up Elk River, so as Just to include Mrs Manesees, thence to the Lincoln line, so as Just to include Templins the hatter, thence with the same, to the State Line, far enough, so as by runing [sic] north, to the Strike, the mouth of Richland Creek or the begining -

Daniel Martindale appointed Overseer of the Huntsville road in the room of John Easley. Resigned -
