This is to Certify that Solomon Charles was duly Elected as a Magistrate in the bounds of Capt. James M. Crawly's Com of militia of 34th Regt. Tenn. Militia of White County - to fill the vacancy of John E. Turner removed - and the Company wish said Charles appointed protem Esqr.
