of such Conduct as He never gave them no cause of offence [sic] neither Were they Intoxicated With Spirits and cannot possibly have any Clock for their Conduct - I ^hope your Excellency Will Endeavour to procure Information What the cause of such treatment Was and have MrMcNabb Made restitution for the Loss he has sustained as he has taken the Legal Stakes Which the Law Directs - here the offence [sic] Appears very trifling but I [find?] the officers of the general Government Very Tenacious of the Rights and [?] of the Cherrokees [sic] and I hope We Will be Eaquely [sic] supported in our own Rights I have the Honour to be your Excellencys Most obed servnt [sic]
