of such Conduct as He never gave them no cause of offence [sic] neither Were they Intoxicated With Spirits and cannot possibly have any Clock for their Conduct - I ^hope your Excellency Will Endeavour to procure Information What the cause of such treatment Was and have M^rM^cNabb Made restitution for the Loss he has sustained as he has taken the Legal Stakes Which the Law Directs - here the offence [sic] Appears very trifling but I [find?] the officers of the general Government Very Tenacious of the Rights and [?] of the Cherrokees [sic] and I hope We Will be Eaquely [sic] supported in our own Rights I have the Honour to be your Excellencys Most obe^d servnt [sic]
