To his Excellency Joseph M^cMinn Governor in and over the State of Tennessee

Sir) On the night of the 26^th Instant broke Springfield Gaol of this county Barton Coates Jun^r, who was committed for Horse stealing - said Barton Coates Jun^r is about Twenty five years old, about six feet two inches high, fair complection, fair Hair - light blue Eyes, a down look, has a large mole on his chin; Your Excellency will cause a reward to be offered for his apprehension - Agreeably to an Act of the General Assembly passed the 24^th of October 1815.
