as Mr Williams property has been re moved by his sister who has last Court aministered [sic] on his estate which Books I think will be safe in his hand untill [sic] your excellency will appoint some other person to do the business

Mr Lamer, Fagan mentioned to me he would do the business if he was appointed I only mention his name as it was his wish as he heard me say I was about to write to you of the Death of Williams last Court -

I Should be glad I Could [?] some money as I have not rereceived any but fifty dollars [Markland?] paid me and ten dollars the Sheriff of Hawkins advanced me
