I Mark Mitchell Clerk of the circuit Court of Said County do hereby certify that the facts Stated in the within letter are true and that the grand Jury found a true Bill for Murder & that the officers of Justice in this county have used evry [sic] Means in their power to take said Lewis Davis given under my hand at office in Dyersburg this 10^th Novr 1834
