283 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE June 18/83 Gasch, McDonald, Manning and Rasin. Against adoption none. The Attorney submits an Ordinance entitled "To amend Section 15 of Ordinance No. 383." Laid over. The Attorney submits an Ordinance entitled "To assess and levy taxes for general and special municipal purposes for the year 1883." After due consideration the same is adopted upon the following vote, towit: In favor of adoption Collins, Cosper, Clancy, Gasch, McDonald, Manning and Rasin. Against adoption none. Ordered that the Council stand now adjourned until Monday June 25, 1883 at 8 o'clock p.m. Attest: E S Osborne Clerk Approved H G Struve Mayor June 25/83 Be it remembered that on this the 25th day of June 1883 the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment. From Fire & Water Supply approving Fire Warden's report. Adopted From Health Officer & Police approving Health Officer's report. Adopted From Health & Police on D Kellogg's petition reporting that the nuisance complained of had been abated. Adopted From Fire & Water Supply approving Harbor Master's Report. Adopted From Special Comtee on bids rejecting all bids on a/c of South 3rd Street Improvement under Ordinance No 399. Adopted Ordered that the Clerk be & he is hereby instructed to re-advertise for bids for said South 3rd Street Improvement; the bids for grading & Sidewalks to be separate from those for piling and Wharf building. From Health & Police on Health Officers report approving the same. adopted Ordered that the City Attorney be & he is herby instructed to submit an Ordinance to compel property owners in a certain District to connect with the Madison Street Sewer. Applications for Licenses The following applications for Licenses having been declared as approved by the Committee on Licenses & Revenue.
