459 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE Apr 18/84 adopted upon the following vote, towit: In favor of adoption Clancy, Harris, Keenen, Northrup, Ranke, Rasin & Wusthoff, against adoption none. An ordinance is submitted entitled "A special Ordinance appropriating money to pay audited bills". Adopted upon the following vote To wit: In favor of adoption Clancy,Harris, Keenen, Northrup, Ranke, Rasin & Wusthoff, against adoption none. Miscellaneous Orderedthat the Comtee on Health & Police be & they are hereby instructed to examine the matter of a nuisance complained of by Roff Abrams Ordered that the Street Commissioner be & is hereby instructed to remove Sewer foot of Cherry Street. Ordered that the Council stand now adjourned until Tuesday evening April 22, 1884 at 7& 1/2 O'Clock P.M. Attest: E S Osborne Clerk Approved H G Struve Mayor Apr 22/84 Be it remembered that on this the 22d day of April 1884 the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment The following Officers are present, to wit: His Honor the Mayor H. Re-committed with instructions to employ the aid of the Surveyor. Committee Reports From Comtee on Public Buildings, Property and Grounds rejecting the petition of Cochran & Roff regarding a lease of foot of Columbia Street, adopted From Comtee on Public Buildings, Property and Grounds recommending that the City Cemetery Grounds be condemned as a Cemetery. Adopted & Atty instructed to submit an Ordinance therefor From Special Comtee recommending that $500.00 be appropriated for the Improvement of Beach Road. Adopted. From Comtee on Public Buildings, Property & Grounds recommending the granting of the petition of Puget Iron Works et al for a tank in Seneca Street. Adopted. From Street Comtee on the petition of John Keenen et als recommending that the Street Commissioner be instructed to remove the slide in Washington Street.
