Seattle, Washington, Sept 10 1891 To the Hon City Council: Atty to City of Seattle: Gentlemen Your petitioners would respectfully request that they have at the present time 3 horses in the fire department that are disabled and unfit for fire service and as the department is really in need of our good horses would ask that your hon body grant us the necessary power to dispose of the disabled horses to the best advantage. Be it remembered that on this the 24th day of October A. D. 1890 The Board of Aldermen of the City of Seattle meets pursuant to adjounment and after recess: in their room in the New City Hall: Prest Geo W. Hall in the chair. The following members are present at roll call. Bogardus Holbrook Korn Miller Pontius Snyder Wald Wilcox. Mr. President H.W. Miller City Clerk.
