722 JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE Dec 4 1885 Miscellaneous On motion the report of the board of fire Delegates exonerating James Dunham Engineer of Engine No 2 from the charges made against him is adopted by the council as the report of the Council Ordered that the Street Comission proceed to erect a City Stable under the supervision of the Committee on Public Buildings and Grounds On motion the City Attorney is directed to enter the appearance of the City in the Case of Geo W Stetson vs The City of Seattle et al and the City Clerk ordered to issue all the James Street Grade Warrants that remain un issued and deposit the same with the Clerk of the District Court wherein the above entitled cause is now proceeding. Ordianace An Ordinance is submitted by the City Attorney entitled "An Ordinance in Reation to sewers and Drainage' which after due consideration by the Council is adopted by the following vote, viz: In favor of such ordinance, R H Calligan, J Furth, Geo W Hall, W A Harrington, John Keenen, T W Lake, Chas McDonald J J Post, and G W Young. Against none An Ordinance is submitted by the Clerk entitled "A special Ordinance appropriating money to pay audited Bills" which is adopted by the following vote, In favor of same Calligan, [Furth]], Hall, Harrington, Keenen, Lake, McDonald Post, and Young. Against none Ordered that Council Adjourne until Wednesday Evening Dec 9th 1885 at 7 o'clock pm Attest W R Forrest, City Clerk H L Yesler, mayor
