Drove to Outdoors Inc.; got a pair of walking shoes that will do for my swollen foot; much improvement over the badly torn old ones.Call from L.A. Times want me to write a book review. Refused, as usual.Note from Ric Burns saying he’ll arrive on April 16, a Wednesday. Called Fletcher Walton; arranged for him to cut + cut the grass on Tuesday.
