1945 31 Days MAY

3 Th Still very cold. Had quite an
interesting current events lesson.
Did history in free lessons. Spent all
the afternoon drawing frog skeletons.
Gordon came back from leave, gave
me a lovely bracelet. He is staying with
us for a week. Bill came to supper.

4 Fri Bill's day off. Snow shower
in morning but quite nice afterwards.
Had two history lessons taking notes.
Scripture very boring. Played
rounders in afternoon. Betty Boultred
left school. Bill & Betty came in
evening. Had practice & messed about.

5 Sat--Moon's last quarter 6.2 a.m.
Fine in morning but rained all
the afternoon & evening. Helped
Mummy in morning. Did bathroom
and errands. Gordon came with me.
Had bath in afternoon. We all went to
the pictures at Rex in evening.
Memo Saw Rainbow Island. G held
my hand all the time. It was wiyard.
