JULY 7th Month 1945

Very very hot day.
15 Sun--7th after Trinity St. Swithin

Went to S. School in morning. Played.
Taught primary. Went to S. School
again in afternoon. Read a book
afterwards. Went to Ch. with Janet & Gordon
the rest went to Little Thetford. Bert
Bunty & Judy came to supper.

16 Mon Rather cool day. Read a
book in lessons before break. Spent
from break until 3.30 pm
looking after the boys & girls taking
the 3rd part of the scholarship. Had
my music lesson. Read nearly all the
evening. Gordon gave me a radio set.
Lots of L & Xs.

Lovely day.
17 Tues--Moon's first quarter 7.1 a.m.
Had biology lessons as usual.
Then had free lesson until
English. Read a book all the time.
Came home in afternoon & drove
tractor for Gordon. Had a practise
and read in evening.

18 Wed Warm day.
Read all the morning as had
all free lessons. Lesson. Came
home in afternoon. Cleaned
all the windows & drove tractor.
Gordon went swimming in evening.
I went with him.
