1945 31 Days AUGUST

16 Th- Moon's first quarter 12.26 a.m.
Very windy day. Did a lot of washing
in the morning and got them
all dried and ironed in the
afternoon. Bert came to tea & the Padre
Judy & Ted came in the evening and
we had a bit of a party. Played games

17 Fri Lovely day Cleaned my
bedroom and the lounge in
morning. Cut the lawn in
afternoon Gordon came back at tea
time. Washed my hair in evening
Judy & Betty came in evening
and stayed for supper.

18 Sat Dull day
Helped Mummy all the
morning. Did veges. Had a
bath in afternoon and went
to Sutton to fetch some oil
from Grandma's. Stuck
some stamps in my album
in evening. Judy came to
supper
