AUGUST 8th Month 1945

19 Sun - 12th after Trinity Cold day.
Mummy & Daddy went to Littleport
for the day. Went to S. School in
morning. Janet & I took primary.
Gordon preached at Haddenham. Had
a rest in afternoon. Went to Chapel
in evening. Gordon & Judy went to Littleport

20 Mon Quite nice day.
Gordon & I helped Mummy was
in morning. Got changed in
afternoon and did some
ironing. Went to see Grandma
in evening and wrote to
Betty Ambrose.

Wet in afternoon
21 Tues Finished writing to Betty
in morning and did some sewing
In afternoon Gordon Mummy
& I went with Daddy to the other
side of town where I bought a
new clover coat. did not get back []

22 Wed Showery day.
Did veges and cleaned
up in morning. Had some fun
with Geo in afternoon. Went to
Bible Class in evening. Mr Cotton's
