DECEMBER 12th Month 1945
16 Sun -- 3rd in Advent
Fairly mild day.
Desmond came
back from leave. Taught Primary in
morning. Did french all afternoon.
Went to Chapel in evening and went
carol singing afterwards. Had a
lovely time.

17 Mon Fairly mild day.
Betty Ambrose not at
school as she is working at Post Office.
Had a nice french lesson and had
biology lessons wiwth Mary [unknown]
H.W. [unknown] some calenders in [?]

18 Tues Mild Windy day
Had a french lesson on
my own with Miss Baird. Got on alright.
Help June Mac to pack Youth Helps Youth
clothes. Did notes in history. Had a
lovely time in art. Went to Sutton in
evening to go to Santa's land with
classroom [?]. A cantata produced [?]
Mrs Gambert [?] at Sunbeams. Mummy +
Judy Helped.

19 Wed -- Ember day
Full moon 2.17 a.m.
Fairly cold day. Helped June Mac at
Youth Helps Youth in morning and did
history notes. Had Christmas pudding [?]
for dinner at school. Came
