1945 30 Days NOVEMBER

22 Th Foggy day. Had an amusing music lesson and then we had a singing rehersal. Did french in free lessons. Enjoyed art in afternoon. Spent all evening doing home work. Dennis took Bible class.

23 Fri Cold day. Had a singing practise first two lessons. Did french in all free lessons. Helped to mark the field for hockey in afternoon. Had a party in evening. Judy, Bunty, Desmond Eric & Padre came in. Had a lovely time.

24 Sat Quite a nice day. Had breakfast late and did some homework in morning. After dinner, Eric took Janet, Judy and I to Cambridge by taxi. Did some shopping and came back to Ely & had tea in Bonnets. Afterwards queued for pictures but did not get in so came home at 7.20pm.

NOVEMBER 11th Month 1945

25 Sun - Next before Advent Cold day. Did some HW before I went to Primary. Finished my homework on Sunday Afternoon. Went to Witton(?) with Daddy & Peggy to hear Eric practise Bunty, Desmond, Luther & Leslie came to supper.

26 Mon - ( Moon's last quarter 1.28 p.m. Cold day. French lessons not bad. Did drawings (?) in Biology. Scripture not ad. Had a practise and wrote to [?] [?] in evening. Only Padre came in.

27 Tues Cold Day. [crossed out: Not bad french lesson] Peggy went back and Judy went on leave. Lesson not too bad. Enjoyed art.

Very cold day. Had 2 biology 28 Wed lessons & then had a singing practise. Did all right in history. Came home in afternoon had a long practise & wrote to Gordon. Went to Guild at Sutton in evening. Desmond, Bunty & eric came with us.

1945 NOVEMBER-DECEMBER

29 Th Cold day. Had quite a nice music lesson. Then had a singing rehersal. Did French in free lessons. Had quite a nice lesson in art. Eric went. He is [?] Did homework all the evening. Kitty took Bible class. Bunty Desmond

30 Fri - St. Andrew's Day Humps Birthday. Dull cold day. Had a massed singing rehersal in morning. Did french in free lessons and notes in history. Messed about in hockey. Did homework in evening. No [?] came in.

1 Dec. Sat Cold day. Helped mummy all the morning and did dinner wash up. had practise and did homework all the afternoon and all the evening.

1945 31 Days DECEMBER 6 Th very cold day. Had quite [?] Had a letter from G & his mother. Nice music lesson & had a lovely singing lesson singing carols. Did biology in free lessons. Had a nice art lesson. Went to Bible class in evening Molly took it. Joan, Kitty, Kathleen, leslie, Geo. Phang, Padre, Ron, Judy and Denys came.

Very cold dull day, Did biology 7 Fri in free lessons. Discussed school affairs in current events. Did notes in history. Messed about in Hockey. Washed my hair in evening and did homework. Judy came in. Janet went to pictures with Bunty.

Very cold day. Snowed a bit. 8 Sat Helped Mummy in morning. Did veges. Daddy took us all out to dinner in Cambridge and we shopped all the afternoon. Got a pair of navy wedge-heel shoes. Came home to tea. Did homework and made calenders in evening. Memo
