Afternoon it being almost calm
The old Man took a notion
to gain with her at 4 o'clock
on board of her which we found
to be the Laurens of Sag Harbor
Capt Eldridge it being the first
gain we have had since we have been
out they have been in Port 3
times Reported Gem & Sperm
Whale which made 80 barrells

some what squally very warm

Wednesday 8th
AM light breeze changeable winds
PM Winds S E half South
verry warm pretty near the line

Thursday 9th
AM Winds blowing fresh from the
South West quite Rugged ship ahead

AM Wind S W blowing fresh
PM wind the same
