All these 24 hours Light winds and pleasant from the N West at 1/2 past 4 make the islands of flores and [Carvo?] bearing ESE Dist 16 miles more ship and spoke the Neptune capt Brown came on board and stay until night at sun down took in sail and head S West at 12 AM [ware?] ship and stood in for the land at day Light make all sail at 12 PM flores home N W 15 miles saw 2 schooners and one brig to the South East of it saw no whale

Throughout this day light wind and calm of S East of flores 18 miles Distance at 4 PM spokt the schooner Hannah Eliza of Boston
Capt right 80 [lbs?] of sperm oil so ends

Wednesday June 26th 1822
First part of thesee 24 hour light airs and calm at day light made all sail and steared NE by east at 12 PM the North part of Corvo bore West 20 Miles saw a sail under flores and one ahead

These 26 hours light winds and pleasant from the West stear NN East will all sail set a 4 PM pays a whaling ship stearing for Flores Lay to during the night under short sail
