Began with Fresh Gales that lasted through
the day Ship under Single reefed Top Sails
Steer W S W by the wind Saw one
Ship Steering E latter part hands
Employed in breaking out the fore hatch
for water So Ends all well Lat Obsd

Throughout this day light airs & calm
Ship under all sail steer to the N W
ward Saw 1 Ship Steering S E at sun
set Calm took in sail & lay by So Goes

Commenced with strong winds from
