So goes all well Lat [Latitude] Obsd 37:20 Longitude 4:00 Saturday the 21 fst [] Through this day strong winds from the N W Ship under all Sail Steering W S W by the wind Wabash in company Saw several finbacks & large fields of whale feed. Saw a Ship to Sth leeward standing to the W ward latter part thick fog at sunset weather increasing Single reefed our top sails.
