Wednesday July 9th This 24 hours we have foggy weather most of the time. Wind SE. Saw several sail[S], one boiling. So ends the day. Latt [LATITUDE] 49 40 Long [LONGITUDE] 161-10 East

Saturday July 12th Foggy all day with verry [VERY] little exception. Wind from the Southward. Steer to the N & W. Saw several humpbacks. So ends. Latt [LATITUDE] by Acct [ACCOUNT] 49.50 N Long [LONGITUDE] by Acct [ACCOUNT] 162°=00"
Sunday July 13th All the fore and middle part[S] fog, fog, fogg [FOG]. Near mght [MIDNIGHT?] it clears up a little. Saw a right whale going fast to the Eward [EASTWARD]. Saw three sail[S]. So ends a tedious day. Latt [LATITUDE] Observed 50°=20" N Long [LONGITUDE] by Acct [ACCOUNT] 162°=10" East
