To make Mrs Pawley's wafers
Take 3 pounds of flower & one quart 1 pint of milk
lukewarmd & ground 2 quarts of butter melted
2 eggs well beated & ow spoonful of salt with
warm milk one spoonful of fine sugar melt all
to evenly & beat it well you cannot beat it
tow much & the iron must be flatt & turnd with
a little butter the first time
