{196} The Virgins Milke ~
Take the Litharge of Gold finely beaten 3 ounces; of white wine
distilled 1 pint shake them well together & Let them stand the space of 3 hours
still shaking the glasse wherein they stand then set the glasse In a pan
of Boyling water on the fire Let it boyle till one halfe of the vineger be
wasted, then filter it to make it cleare then take Be and flower water
halfe a pint, & put thereto halfe a pint one ounce of salt
Gem made Into powder, mix the water & the salt Gem together
& silter it as you did the other to make it Cleare & so put
altogether In a viall for your use & so wash your face with A fine
Cloath;

Almony Milk to unstop the Liver & the Spline
Take of the topps of Rhine Egremony Maiden haire
of each a handfull & halfe, of parsely & fennell Roots
2 or 3 handfull; A handfull of violet flowers, If you cannot
get them fresh then get them dryed, 2 handfulls of Reasons of the sunn
1 ounce of Anneseeds, boyle all these In a pottfull of running
water, till the 3d part be wasted & with this Liquor straine your Almonds
being pondred very small, Let the [g tie] take a good draugh of Allum
Milk In the morning, & so continue it for a fortnight or
Longer as you see cause & within one have drunk it, Let them
take the quantitie of a walnut; of Red Rose/
