co in marques.

In ìcuāc quimpēuhquê in mēxìcâ in Christianomê camo zan
nēn huāllàquê ca ītēncopatzinco in totēucyo, ca quimonāhua-
tilî in Sancto padre quimolhuilî, "Xiquinnāhuatīcān in
cavallelosmê occentetl tlālli īpan yāzquê." Inic
àcicô in nican xii frailes.

At this time the venerable Moteuczoma died and the Marques arrived.

The Christians conquered the Mexico and they did not come in vein, for they came according to the command of the lord. The Santo padre commanded them, said to them, "Get the horses ready so that you might go to another land."

And so the 12 frailes arrived.
